Our next meeting is June 26th. Dr. Mark Foster who organized the club, Dr. Foster’s House of Vinyl, at Mt. Brook Jr. High School will be the speaker at our meeting.  The club meets about once per month to listen to music from both Dr. Foster’s huge collection and those of the students.  Mark is an accomplished trombone player, having performed with the Temptations, The O’Jays, The Alabama Ballet Orchestra, The Tuscaloosa Symphony Orchestra, and The Alabama Symphony Orchestra. He has served as guest conductor at various times and is a member of Birmingham’s Superjazz Big Band. 

We gather at 2 pm for refreshments and music conversation. The business meeting is at 3 p.m.

Visitors are welcome to drop by and meet us! We’re at the Homewood Library, located at 1721 Oxmoor Road, near Homewood Park. We meet in Room 110 in the lower level.
